Neurology Consultants of Montgomery is glad to be a part of the Respite Ministry in the Montgomery, Alabama area. The Respite Ministry serves what is an increasing population in the United States. Of the 5.3 million Americans with Alzheimer’s, an estimated 5.1 million people are age 65 and older, and about 200,000 individuals are younger than 65 (younger-onset Alzheimer’s). Someone in the United States develops the disease every 67 seconds, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, which recognizes November as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.
